#18/ Arity by Aria (aged 8) and Emity (aged 5)
Arity is one of Woolgoolga’s most loved and well-known surfboards, celebrated as much for its story as for its bold, joyful design. After the original Arity board was stolen, the community rallied together, and with overwhelming local support, a brand-new board was organised for two young artists to repaint.
That board was lovingly brought to life (twice) by Aria (aged 8) and Emity (aged 5), whose bright colours and playful geometric patterns transformed loss into something positive and powerful. A reminder that when something is taken, kindness and togetherness can create something even more meaningful in its place.
