Think you’ve got the chops to shred an invisible fretboard? Ready to strum like a superstar without ever breaking a string? Then step right up - the Air Guitar Champs are landing at Blues & Berries Festival on November 2 and Woopi News is stoked to be sponsoring all the fun.
Here’s how it works:
Pre-register and you get to pick your own epic anthem to rock out to. Also we expect the limited spaces will fill quickly.
Sign up on the day and… well, we’ll pick a surprise track for you. (Better hope it’s not Baby Shark.) plus you risk the chance of missing out.
The afternoon will crank through a series of heats before the ultimate showdown finale. Only one air shredder will rise to the top, claiming eternal bragging rights, the title of Inaugural Air Guitar Champion and – wait for it – a shiny brand-new AIR GUITAR. (Lightweight, never needs tuning, guaranteed forever warranty.)
So grab your mates, warm up those windmill arms, and get ready to rock Woolgoolga without even touching six strings.
We ask for three song choices on the registration form with priority being given to first in best dressed.
